What I love

What I hate
I don't really hate anything or anyone. I just tend to feel angry at people who show a lack of consideration toward others.

My Experience
After nearly 20 years in the corporate world, where I held management positions in project management, consulting, marketing and communication, in the high-tech industry, in France and in the USA, I decided to change course when I realized I was more interested in people than most other aspects of business. I became a consultant and trainer, and I now coach individuals from all walks of life through career transitions such as a promotion, a change of jobs, an expatriation, or creating their own company. I deliver training in public speaking, creativity tools, and intercultural management. I also deliver speeches and host workshops in events such as the Salon des Micro-Entreprises, or Women in Leadership, and I teach Human Resources Management at the CNAM-IIM. I am trained in systemic and solution-oriented coaching, collaborative approaches like narrative therapy, and personality inventories such as the KTS-II.
 

My beliefs
Like my dear friend, "Le Petit Prince", I believe that it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye. I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. I believe the universe conspires to work in our favor.

What I love
The extraordinary people that I know as family and friends who have opted to share this life journey with me. I absolutely love and am eternally grateful for the printed word and the way it allows me to transcend time and space by giving me access to the thoughts of people who walked this earth thousands of years ago as well as those who trek on ground that I will never see. I love meeting new people – it’s like opening a box of assorted chocolates – you don’t know what’s inside until you take a bite. (I promise not to bite anyone) Also, just for the record I do love the actual box of assorted chocolates and there will always be a special place in my heart for my precious Little Prince.

My Experience
I would often arrive home from grade school to a home filled with the harmonious sounds of many different languages, cultures, and accents – our house was affectionately referred to as the united nations. My family hosted Vista volunteers from all around the world. My mother loved and welcomed absolutely everyone, my father, a true introvert, grumbled as each new guest arrived – everyday was an adventure. As a result, meeting new people from all walks of life has always been as natural and as necessary for me as breathing fresh air and drinking spring water. I have spent most of the past 20 years functioning as what I call a “visibility expert.” I have helped companies become more visible and attractive to potential candidates and I’ve helped job seekers become more visible and attractive to potential employers. I spent the last several years leading the recruitment function for the 1st, largest, and # 1 Children’s hospital in the United States. I am now devoted to putting my 20+ years of insider knowledge and connections to work for those in today’s job market. The transition from the industrial age to the knowledge age brought with it a whole new approach to the job market. So too does the current transition from the knowledge age to the approach of the conceptual age. I help job seekers navigate the new world of job search. As a professional resume writer I create not just chronological list of jobs held and responsibilities performed but powerful marketing documents that vividly show value propositions, achievements, contributions, and leave potential employers yearning to learn more. As a job search coach, I guide my clients through every phases of the job search process, using everything from web 2.0 tools to increase visibility to innovative tools that tap into the hidden job market. As I learned from my friend Rod Colon’, author of Win the Race for 21st Century Jobs we must become the CEO’s of our careers.

My Experience
Having spent most of my childhood living abroad and growing up in Borneo, Croatia and Brazil I learnt about expatriation from one perspective within a family. Years later, moving to Geneva as an expat spouse gave me another experience of expatriation. Within those years I have worked in publishing and then in the field of HR, at the Institute of Directors in London and then as an executive coach in London and Geneva. I also have a Masters degree in Organisational Behaviour and a Diploma in Coaching.

Internationalization is my way of life. Born in Germany, I have lived, worked and studied in Europe, the US and Asia. I thrive in a multi-cultural environment. After working for 10 years with a global financial institution, I decided to pursue my passion for helping people develop their true potential. Drawing on my experience with multi-cultural and virtual teams, I facilitate management training for multinational companies across industries and empower individuals as a life coach in Tokyo. I spend my spare time with my two boys and husband, exploring Japan and surroundings, learning the ways of the Japanese PTA and school system and generally just having fun.

My Experience
I have close to 20 years experience in HR management, especially in recruitment, training and coaching individuals and teams. As a Canadian expatriate living in Belgium for 12 years, and through my work, I had the chance to meet people from all over the world and found it to be a very rich experience. I?m trilled to help other expatriates integrate and find a fulfilling career while abroad. I have a university degree in psycho-sociology and I'm certified in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

My Experience
Growing up in a country where I was not born and developing my career in a country where I did no grew up has made me realize I have been an expatriate for 32 years of my life. Always looked for tools and ideas to make my circumstances the best opportunity for development and integration. I have made creativity my religion. After I finished my studies in Image and Sound Design, I discovered Coaching. I immediately started to work as a Coach in a Teambuilding Organization. Since then I never have stopped coaching people. At the moment, I am working as a Coach at an MBA program for career development, as well at a Teambuilding company as a Human Resources Consultant, coaching teams in leadership skills, effective communication, coaching skills for management and following process of change. In addition, I do personal coaching to empower individuals to reach their personal and professional goals. I am delighted to join the Net Expat team and know through my experience; we have the power to make our lives a flowered garden no matter the physical place we live.

My Experience
Born and raised bilingual in Paris, France, of a French dad and a German mom, I took my first solo plane trip at the age of 4 and never stopped traveling since! My father worked for the EU before it existed, my parents sent me to foreign countries every summer to learn languages (I now speak 4) and cultures. My degree is the French equivalent of an MBA in international marketing and my career spans 12 corporate years working domestically in various countries (France, US, Germany) for international companies or internationally (Europe, South America, Middle East and Asia) for US companies. I also did a brief but notable stint in recruiting for an IT start up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before the ?tech bubble burst?. Now an expat by marriage, I continue traveling: the world thanks to my ?United Nations? family, and the human mind and soul through my work as a Certified Life Coach (CPCC). I hope to be able to contribute all my experience and passion to Net Expat?s community of expatriates, to make their international experiences the best they can be.

My Experience
Having grown up as an expatriate child myself I have pursued a career in international consulting and HR since my university studies. As a consultant for intercultural management I prepared expatriates and their families for assignments in South-East-Asia. For many years I have driven international HR topics including expatriate assignments within large corporations. During my career I have come to view assignments through different perspectives ? that of the expatriate, the accompanying family, the company, the local superiors and colleagues. I have done some research especially by interviewing expatriates on their living and working conditions and have published the results on private expatriate life and topics related to working in South-East-Asia. Currently I work as an HR professional with responsibility for international HR matters for a group of electronic plants globally and I am happy to be able to offer my services through Net Expat as well.

My Experience
Marcos Cajina is a marvelous balance of playful and professional. He has been a tier 1 high calibre employee at Ford Motor Company for over 10 years before leaving the organization in 2001 after 14 years of successful service. During this time at Ford he became the youngest NSC Human Resource Manager for the Iberian Peninsula and was assigned to the European Headquarter HHRR activity at the age of 27, designing leadership development plans and programmes for over 1,000 people. After graduating from The American School of Switzerland with summa cum laude and one academic and sport award under his belt, he resumed studying and earned his MBA at Instituto de Empresa with honours in Madrid and Diploma on Strategic Leadership at The London Business School. Born in northern England I have now moved further south to Cambridge. I've had a varied career, partly academic (I did a PhD on Diderot and research in linguistics), partly public sector (in the Information Service of the Department of Trade and Industry) but mainly as a management training specialist and writer/developer of training materials including drama-based video scripts. I trained as a coach with US-based Coach U and later with the Newfield Network, and gained my Professional Certified Coach accreditation awarded by the International Coach Federation. I?m also an experienced mediator and facilitator. I've coached clients from many business sectors and walks of life, from CEOs and business owners to creative artists. My educational journey started in Puerto Rico (where I was born) and took me to Spain, México, the United States and Canada. My interdisciplinary background includes graduate and doctoral studies in history, cultural studies, psychoanalysis and organizational development. My Experience
Being a daughter of the parents working in multinational and multicultural environment I had a chance to experience and explore different cultures since my early childhood. As I always was interested in how people think I have studied system linguistics and English at Russian Peoples Friendship University, Moscow, which gave me a great chance to communicate with people from all over the world. I have started my career teaching expatriates Russian as a foreign language then worked for Russian Red Cross and International Committee of the Red Cross as a coordinator of educational programs. During 8 years with ICRC I traveled to most of Russian regions and former USSR countries delivering training and seminars for teachers and methodologists. Teaching adults lead me to coaching so I focused my attention on coaching and people development in business working as a consultant for a British company then joined The Boston Consulting Group Moscow office as a recruiting and training coordinator. I had a professional coach training and currently being the ICF and the Association of Coaches member provide personal coaching, teach coaching skills for coaches, managers and HR professionals and develop corporate change support programs based on systemic approach. I am happy to be part of the Net Expat team and offer my support and services to Net Expat clients in discovering new horizons.

My Experience
When I left Belgium 30 years ago, I had never imagined the adventure that was about to start. Twin daughters, 4 assignments, 4 countries, 3 jobs and 22 moves later I can say that the journey was fantastic, rich and intense, sometimes even rough, but it was worth it. My curiosity is not fading away, on the contrary: gaining a multi-cultural experience is an incomparable plus in your life. Trying to understand others while not losing your own identity is the key to the enjoyment of expatriation. I worked at the Belgian Embassy in Kinshasa for a short while then quickly switched to the private sector to become Coordination Manager for a Belgian industrial group covering a network of factories spread over a huge territory. Autonomy and trust were the major features of this multi task job implying HR, project management and unfortunately also crisis management. When I arrived in Hong Kong I started a magazine for the members of the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (I hold a degree in Journalism). A few months later I was offered the whole management of the chamber which I pursued until November 2009, despite an interruption of two years spent from 1999 to 2001 in Ivory Coast. In 2007, I started coaching expatriate partners using my own experience as a trailing spouse combined with my professional network to help others successfully blend into the new host country.

My Experience
I was in a seminar in Belgium one day when the trainer put a ball in the middle of the room and said: "supposing this ball is where we are today, and the room is the rest of the world, put yourself at the right distance from the ball to symbolize the place where you normally work." Some of the participants placed themselves close to the ball, some in one or other corners of the room, some halfway between? I stood over the ball, did a deep knee bend, then jumped as high as I could, again and again. I work in Brussels but, all the time, I meet people who are so completely different, in situations that are so different, that I sometimes have the impression I'm traveling around the world every day. I'm a psychologist, specialized in career counseling, in change management and in communication. My experience as a management consultant has brought me into contact with various sectors of the economy, commercial and non-commercial. I apply my powers of listening and my know-how to identify, or create, with all those involved the means to achieve their objectives.

After a Master in Business, I started to work in recruitment. I actually loved it and decided to stay in human resources. I have built experience in recruitment, training and finally covered the full range of HR services as an HR Manager. HR processes optimization, HR projects management, development of customized HR solutions, professional recruiting are part of my expertise. My experience with 3 international companies – Atos, Shell and Solutia – gave me the chance to deal with people from all cultures. After 14 years of experience, I relocated to Switzerland, where I faced the dual career issue. My Experience
After training as a psychologist, my professional career has been focused on the HR service industry: recruitment, employment, management consultancy, coaching and training. The sectors concerned have been very varied (private and public both local and international)- and that has made my work all the more interesting. I have spent a lot of my time abroad: as a student in Mexico, as a researcher in the USA and as a spouse in the Netherlands for 4? years. I started my first corporate coaching experience in 1997 while I was employed as H.R. Associate in Pfizer. Later, when I started up my independent consultancy, I became a member of International Coach Federation (ICF). I attended u2coach Academy for Professional Coaches in Rome for one year. Subsequently I got a Professional Degree as a Coach attending ?Future' , the European School recognized by the International Coach Federation for the certification of European Master coaches. My career as a manager in Training & Development of multinational firms started after my studies in Political Sciences (3 years socio-administrative orientation), As a Senior Consultant, I am responsible for middle management training, mainly in telecommunication, pharmaceutical and banking companies. My Experience
Since over ten years I have been working as a consultant, coach and trainer for teams in companies, non-profit organisations and individuals. My main interests lay on the field of personnel development and capacity building. In my trainings and coachings I support people in their “work wellness”, by coming up to suitable positions and checking their communication processes. I have collected international experiences in vocational training projects sponsored by the European Commission and by working in the technical support department of a global company. In my opinion a good job situation gives people a feeling of being integrated and self-determined, so I like to accompany expatriates within NetExpat.

I spent the first 14 years of my life living in an expat community in Cyprus where my father worked as a geologist so I have direct experience of the type of challenges faced in this situation. Apart from this I have enjoyed living in both South Africa and the UK. In terms of my career I have 25 years experience of combined private, public sector and voluntary work experience in the field of personal development, working with a wide range of people from different backgrounds. My Experience
Born in France, I had the chance to travel all over the world since I was a child; I've spent a while in the United States, worked in Afghanistan and now I live in Italy. With these experiences I've learned that there is always something to discover about ourselves. I've always worked with people in the fields of H.R. management, personal development and professional project (training, coaching and teaching). For the last ten years I have coached people in career transition and change processes. My Experience
I have 20 years of working experience in the field of foreign affaires. I have been working with helping international students and experts from 50 countries studying and working. I got to know the big difference between China and other parts of the world. I often help them to overcome difficulties due to the fact that they are newcomers and deal with trouble caused by the different cultures and social backgrounds. I often organize for foreigners to have trips around Changchun and take part in some important events held by Municipality of Changchun. I recommended some talented foreigners to be part of a performance at Jilin Provincial TV Station. I am energetic and patient, and a problem solver. I am willing to help anyone from any country to work and study in Changchun and China

After my Diploma in Social Sciences at Bergische Universit?t Wuppertal I worked for different organisations as trainer, counsellor and psychotherapist, over 10 years as manager. Then I changed to a personnel consultancy for several years. In the last 15 years I coached people in change processes, also outplacements, in conflict situations, in communication and development of potential. In any case the impetus of my work is my love to support people in their developement. I?m trained as a gestalt therapist and in psychodrama and I am a member of Deutscher Bundesverband Coaching e.V. (German Federal Association of Coaching).

Childhood in Asia, studies in France, residence in Switzerland and visits to more than 80 countries have opened my mind to multiple ways of looking at life.
Basically an engineer with a business degree, I spent about 20 years in multinational firms in oil, chemistry and precious metal. As an independent business consultant for more than 15 years, I had the opportunity to verify that, as the French economist Jean Bodin wrote, 400 years ago, "Il n'est de richesses que d'hommes" (People are the only wealth).

My Experience
For seven years I am working with people in a transition process. I am a consultant for a recruitment agency, and a career adviser. Besides consulting, I give workshops on the topic of self-management, determining participants` competences and application skills. I developed my professionalism by giving challenging workshops in outplacement. Since 2002, I have been a certified Coach and a member of the European Association for Supervision and Coaching. I was a project manager for unemployed people in professional reorientation on behalf of the Federal Labour Agency. After graduation, my first job was in a transnational project sponsored by the European Social Fund. We offered courses and networking for small to medium-sized enterprises in collaboration with our italien and english partners. I hold an M.A. in Religious Studies, History and Education from Eberhard-Karls-University Tuebingen, Germany. During my studies, I took courses at the master program at Lancaster University, UK.

I was active in sales and consulting in the field of mortgage and insurance before I moved to the field of coaching where I truly enjoy the expression of my full nature. I’m active in the field of coaching since 1994 helping people attain a level of leadership in their professional and personal life. After I gained my Economics Degree in 1979 at Geneva’s University, I started to investigate and explore many fields related to human behavior such as psychology, communication skills, philosophy, spirituality, teaching, motivation and leadership. My Experience
Life is always full of challenges encouraging and sometimes accelerating our personal growth and professional progress. I spent many years managing the human resources function for the French subsidiaries of American companies in the pharmaceutical industry and in various service sectors. Thus I developed my listening and negotiating skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in complex environments. For several years I was also a trainer, developing and implementing my own programs for managers and salespeople, mostly in department stores. As a manager myself I enjoyed achieving, with my teams, the results I was committed to and finding opportunities for each of them to develop their skills. As a certified Coach, I greatly enjoy helping NET EXPAT clients achieve what they consider most important for them. Using a variety of tools in combination with a strong interpersonal commitment to success seems to be the right recipe. As an executive coach I take advantage of my international coaching and management experience in Europe and USA. After achieving my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering I held several management positions within Alcatel and Solectron. In 2002, I became a certified professional coach and an authorised licensee of Leadership programmes of LMI (Leadership Management International Texas, U.S.A.) for Switzerland. I founded GPS Global Performance Systems specialised in recruiting, coaching and training. I have just recently obtained a Master degree in Leadership and Management coaching recognized by ICF. My Experience
Born in Ireland, I did what thousands of Irish youngsters had to do back then - left for London when I was 19. I lived in London for 25 years, starting work as a secretary and then finding my way into the media world, selling advertising for Times Newspapers. I spent 5 years in charge of the international advertising department. This was a job I loved, and one which introduced me the world of fashion! I managed and coached a network of international agents, as well as negotiated advertising contracts worth millions of pounds with fashion clients around the globe. In 2000 I moved to Singapore where I started to learn about the life of the expat - the advantages and disadvantages. In general, I found it was a life I loved. In 2002 I came to Beijing, where I am still based. I operate as an independent coach, as well as a trainer of business communications skills. I am an engineer and have complemented this technical background with a master in Business Administration. My Experience
As the daughter of a Polish expat, I understand the difficulties and joys of belonging to two cultures. After completing my degree in English Literature, I spent four years in Krakow studying Polish Language and Culture, working with a theatre company and teaching English. Here, I discovered first-hand the excitement and anxieties of living in another country. I have an MA in Management in Education and twenty years experience as a lecturer and senior manager in Adult Education. This involved teaching English as a Second Language and having responsibility for a team of Foreign Language teachers who were nearly all expats. I am a Master Practitioner in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and completed an ICF-accredited coaching programme in 2002. Earlier this year, I gained a diploma in coaching mastery. I feel passionate about coaching, one of the most rewarding aspects of which is enabling people to discover and make the transition to the right work for them. My Experience
After 10 years as a practicing psychologist accompanying psychotics, I joined the Human Resources department of a major anglo-saxon High-Tech company.
I successively held recruitment, training and development and HR management positions, before relocating to the company headquarters in London as Human Resources Manager, International mobility.
As an expatriate myself, I managed a team of 5 nationalities looking after 250 expatriates in more than 50 countries. I there discovered the joy and the wealth (and sometimes the frustrations!) of dealing with different culture codes and different methods of working. Since then, I am fascinated by intercultural and international mobility issues and I enjoy, as a coach, helping people having to deal in their role with the complexity of an international remit.

My Experience
After graduation from MBA program, I joined a global leading consulting firm in the field of leadership development: assessment, training, and coaching, where I grew from Associate Consultant to GPD Champion Consultant. My consulting service focuses on development solutions, such as competency modeling, assessment center, and 360-degree feedback, leadership training program and coaching. I love to work with people and therefore I have been worked and am working in the field of corporate HR taking charge of organization development initiatives including competence profiling, competence development, training & career development. I also work as Business HR manager and am responsible for recruiting talents above manager level. In my spare time, I work as volunteer to provide career counseling for MBA graduates. And when my husband was in United States, I was facing the choices. One is to work in our office in another city but in the states while another is to stay in China but have vocation to accompany him 2 months per year. Hard decision to make? Now I could be the right person to help you to think it through.

I am a professional HR Consultant specialized in career conseling and outplacement. I have a French HR post Master degree completed by a professional training in assessment skills and outplacement. I have 4 years experience in Career counseling ( from new graduates to top business executives) and 8 years of professional experience in the HR field (Recruitment and training management). My career has been marked by several moves as I was following my husband expatriations (2 years in NY, 3 years in Kent -UK, 3 years in Tokyo - Japan). As many expatriate spouses I did not want to give up my career and I was lucky to find work or social activities in my field of expertise in each country. Working as an employee or as a volunteer has been for me an excellent way to meet local people and to get involved in the community. After 13 years in a large global business, moving through the ranks and gaining diverse experience including audit, M&A deal management, business development, leading and managing multi-cultural teams, change consulting and coaching, I stepped out into the world of a small niche player in organisational and people development, and from there to where I am now. I was born in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, USA. My family has a heritage of gospel singing so all of my youth I traveled, recorded and performed with my family on the east coast. My previous professional experience was 12 years in senior management positions within Athletic companies, Adidas and Reebok, and others. I initially worked in the marketing and advertising industry for seven years working with blue chip organisations such as Coca-Cola, Cadbury, Lloyds Bank, Hewlett-Packard, United Distillers, Bacardi-Martini, Gillette and the BBC to name a few. Due to a cancer scare I took the decision to shut the business down and focus on my coaching. I have more than 20 years experience in Human Resources. After I finished my studies in accounting & personnel I worked for a temporary placement agency as an assistant to the head of the company. I was responsible for all personnel matters (selection – management & development) for accounting experts in the Rhein Main Area. At present I am working for GTZ / CIM - a development agency which assigns experts (executive managers and sector specialists) to developing countries. Here I work as a consultant providing contractual and personal back-up for experts during their assignment abroad. I have had my own consultancy for several years. I have coached individuals & teams in change processes, in conflict situations, in communication and also in developing their own competencies and social potential sustainably. I like to shape change. I enjoy working with my clients and observing their progress step by step. For me, we are all whole persons acting on both business and private levels. Management 20 years experience in management positions from managing projects, through Production, Operations and Plant Management. These positions were within Consumer Electronics and Automotive industries in the UK, Hungary and Slovakia. As of today, my horizons have broadened a little and I am involved in a various areas such as: teaching, Sport, humanitarian groups...and of course coaching of expats and expats partners. I consider my work as an opportunity to belong to a team rich of different kinds of professionals, the chance to be the link between companies and families: a whole new spectrum! I always lived abroad : North Africa, Central Africa, Europe, Asia and now in the Middle East in Dubai....so that I sometimes have difficulties knowing where my roots actually are.... everywhere I guess, also thank to the encounters and friendships which still stay strong, in spite of time and geographical distance.

My Experience
Born in Germany I have lived and worked for about 10 years in France and the USA. Having been a manager in the fashion industry and a consultant, I have had the chance of working with many people of multicultural backgrounds, a lot of them including myself facing dual career issues during expatriation. My competencies, apart from product, business development and marketing, include intercultural people management and team coaching. During a maternity leave I fulfilled my dream and completed my textile background with an MBA and have worked with my husband to start up a consulting business. Now I am following my calling and devote my time and international experience to growing NET EXPAT throughout Germany; helping others reach their full potential, even when facing the challenges of being a "trailing spouse" and supporting international managers to make the best of their expatriations, through coaching and intercultural trainings.

My Experience
My academic background includes a joint honours degree in history and sociology complemented by a Certificate in Supervisory Management. I have spent the last ten years deeply involved in the relocation industry. I established and successfully built up a company from the ideas stage to a premier destination services provider in Southern Ireland. My position as Managing Director was stimulating and challenging however my overriding interest has always been the experience of the individual transferee. I therefore handed on the reins of the company and began to specialise in the area of coaching and spousal support. I am delighted to be able to utilise my experience as part of the Net Expat team
 

My beliefs
I believe that we have all the resources we need to live an enriching life. We just need to learn how to utilize these resources effectively. Mobilizing our resources require driving forces. Among all the driving forces in life, the strongest one is love. It brings not only a feeling of belonging, but also the courage to stretch one?s limits and explore the unknown because love reassures a home sweet home eventually no matter what adversities one might have to face. This explains why I coach people to have a balanced life. Workaholic is not a solution. I believe that it is a great blessing for a person to find a mentor who inspires, encourages and guides. This helps a person to integrate learning quicker and be more able to ?bounce back? quicker at times of adversities.

I was born in Ukraine. My first intercultural experience started when I was nominated to live and study in US as an exchange student for one year at the age of 16. Later as a student I fell in love with HR and after graduation my only interest was T&D. Having worked as T&D specialist and a head of corporate universities at local and international companies I gained vast experience in business training and coaching. Now I’m an executive coach with over 1200 hours of experience and a head of First Ukrainian Coaching School. I have a BBA in Management and a Diploma in Coaching.

My Experience
After I attained my Master's degree in psychology, I started working for a global management consultancy. My main areas of focus were change management, assessment and development centers and coaching. After 4 years, I resigned and, ready for adventure, moved to London with my husband. I remember the first months in London as exciting, new and full of opportunities but also as lonely, confusing and frustrating. After a few months I started working for an international wholesale bank as a development consultant. Here my focus was on individual and team coaching and assessment and development centers. After three years in London we moved back to Holland. I now enjoy working for Net Expat and use my personal, professional and academic experience to support expats and their spouses.

My Experience
I had the chance to spend about 12 years within several major multinationals to gain extensive experience from various senior positions. My fields of expertise include recruitment and people management from different cultures and backgrounds. I had the opportunity to be expatriated several times, to be confronted directly into the dual-career issue as accompanying partner and to cross 4 continents and more than 50 countries! I decided to create Net Expat with the objective to provide tangible and realistic solutions to accompanying expats partners in order to help them to continue their career during their expatriation. My background is Civil Engineer complemented by an M.B.A.

My Experience
After 7 years of engineering and business studies (Civil Engineer Diploma National Technical University Athens, MSc Imperial College London, MBA City University Business School London and Executive Training IMD Lausanne), I have worked for more than 16 years (1987 ? 2003) within several different multinational FMCG and IT companies (Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Benckiser, Kodak, DIAGEO, Singular Software). During those years, a strong business development and commercial management profile has been forged. Since 2003, I have been practising and developing coaching; I am a CTI trained coach and an ICF member. Coaching for me means to assist other people ? individually or in teams - find ways of their own in going over edges they choose and in doing so enjoy going over my own edges as well. That is why, it is both a pleasure and a challenge to share NET EXPAT focused vision and to work towards realising it.

My Experience
I bring over twenty years experience as a Human resources manager and Consultant to the Net Expat team. My Human Resources background in expatriate administration, recruitment and talent development was gained in large blue chip companies in a variety of sectors. In these roles I was responsible for a team across the Middle East, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe. I have been an expatriate myself in France as well as an expat spouse with a family on assignment to Belgium ... so I know how it feels! I currently provide coaching as part of the UK team.
 

My beliefs

Living abroad since 1991 (in Japan, Indonesia and Singapore), I understand the joys and pains of living as a foreigner in Asian cultures. I appreciate the challenges of adapting and the thrill of thriving abroad. I delight in coaching clients through cross-cultural transitions and helping navigate that process for the whole family. I am conversationally fluent in Japanese and Bahasa Indonesian. I am a credentialed member of the International Coach Federation and active in the ICF Singapore Chapter. I am also a graduate of Coach U and Results Coaching Systems. My undergraduate Communications degree from the University of Washington (USA) complements my work.

My Experience
I am an executive, business and personal coach who lives in Oslo, Norway. I was the first Norwegian graduate of Corporate Coach University, mastered advanced courses with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) as a Co-Active Professional CTI-coach, and am the first and only facilitator in Scandinavia of "The Coaching Clinic." I am now a PCC applicant by the International Coach Federation this summer. For more than 30 years I have worked internationally. I am a recognized expert in cross-cultural diversity. I am a creative thinker with a collaborative style, seeing options from other perspectives - - gentle and polite but always reaching. For many years I owned and operated my own company with 130 employees. For seven years I provided tour management in 32 languages to international tour operators traveling in Scandinavia. A diplomatic personality has helped me to create cross-cultural connections. In the mid-1970's I became the Information Secretary for the Press Attach? in the American Embassy in Oslo. A native Chinese later immigrated to Canada, I accumulated solid commercial experience by working at global companies such as Alstom and Babcock & Wilcox. In addition, I have been engaged as senior consultant for several years help building bridges between Chinese and foreign enterprises. Over the past 18 years, I have been enjoying extensive international travels and second aments in Asia, America, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. My Experience
I accomplished my Engineer's Degree in France and Canada in electronics field. After several years as a Manager in an international French company, I created my own company in organisation and HR management consulting. Because of my passion in Human Being evolution, I completed my knowledge in cognitive psychology specially in NLP training and individual coaching. For the last 27 years, Serge Zivkovic, has been active in Human Resources Management. He has held the position of Human Resources Manager with GTE Sylvania, Stauffer Chemicals, Lloyds Bank and Beckman Coulter. In March 1990, he created his own company, Futures Perspectives, sp?cialising in Human Resources consulting activities.
