The Business Development Support Associate is responsible for supporting the NetExpat business development team globally. This talented team is comprised of 51 senior professionals around the globe who grow our global footprint, our customer base, our market share and our service offerings. This individual will play a strategic role in the organization by stimulating and supporting this core team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and goal-oriented person with demonstrated communications skills to join our fast-pace activities worldwide. 



RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Support the sales and marketing teams globally through our “consultative selling” approach 
  • Help strengthen our strategic partnerships with other industry leaders, such as relocation companies and consulting firms 
  • Leverage our thought leadership position and visibility at international mobility and talent management conferences 
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks and recommend strategies 

REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent 
  • Minimum 2 years successful experience in a similar role with a global services provider 
  • Ability to successfully operate within a global team that emphasizes initiatives and results

This Senior Director, Advisory Services position is an exciting combination role:

You will contribute your knowledge and expertise, in collaboration with our global sales team, towards the development of NetExpat activities in the Asia-Pacific region.


Primary responsibilities will include:

  •  Strengthen relationships and expand business opportunities with existing NetExpat customers,
  • Present NetExpat services to potential customers,

The VP Global Advisory Services Americas is responsible for leading NetExpat business development and corporate engagement activities all over the Americas, with a primary focus on the US, providing leadership and driving business development strategies. This role is strategic in both developing and implementing NetExpat initiatives, as well as growing our footprint throughout the Americas to ensure that our ambitious growth targets are achieved. The VP Global Advisory Services Americas will also act as a key spokesperson and have frequent contacts with executive level representatives from corporate customers, IGOs and strategic business partners. 


As a senior and active member of the NetExpat Global Advisory Team, the VP Global Advisory Services Americas will work closely with the NetExpat Group President and other Global Advisory Team members to support NetExpat expansion.


Primary responsibilities include: 


Develop NetExpat footprint in the Americas through our “consultative selling” approach

  • Introduce NetExpat capabilities to potential new customers and partners
  • Develop relationships with local industry partners (consulting firms, relocation management companies)
  • Represent NetExpat as a thought leader in the Americas with the support of our GAT team experts
  • Deliver knowledge sharing presentations to top industry executives at global human resources conferences
  • Help monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, threats and recommend strategies

Customer relations and satisfaction for Americas accounts in partnership with the NetExpat delivery team

  • Collaborate with the NetExpat global delivery function to ensure that best in class service is provided by NetExpat consistently to all customers in the Americas
  • Maintain key customer relationships, while developing and implementing strategies for expanding NetExpat customer base

REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

  • Proven record of successful developing/managing a consultative based sales and marketing approach in talent management and international mobility in a consulting and corporate environment
  • Minimum of 10 years successful experience managing a similar role
  • Successful experience operating as part of a global team that emphasizes autonomy, initiatives in a highly collaborative environment

ACCOUNTING

  • Involvement in global accounting improvement process
  • Issue office related orders, manage petty cash of travel expenses and mastercard expenses and book into accounting software

RESPONSIBILITIES

The internship involves a psychometric tool known as the ExpAdviser; used to help employees, future expats and their families to anticipate and grasp possible difficulties encountered through expatriation.

The questionnaire includes specific cultures (as of now 80+ countries). One of the tasks will be to increase the sensitivity of these comparisons. Assistance on launching a global study to further understand a successful expatriation. This will entail creating a methodology, questionnaire, and data analysis – depending on the stage of the survey. Working hand in hand with the development team to create and adapt a related e-learning tool. The intern will also support to external and internal questions/requests regarding the psychometric tool.


The intern will assist with the finalization of the new version, work closely with the development team through activities such as:

  • Selecting open questions for the new version
  • Support with data analysis and updating the factorial structure
  • Working on country profiles for instance based on Hofstede’s work
  • Collaborating with the IT team to improve the ExpAdviser
  • Updating programs and manuals
