Your path into global mobility has been truly international.
How has that shaped your approach to leadership?
I started out managing large-scale events across Latin America, China, and the Middle East, which taught me how to connect across cultures. When I moved to the U.S., I paused my career to focus on family but stayed connected—consulting, translating, and helping others through cultural transitions. That personal and professional journey shapes how I lead today. I focus on empathy, flexibility, and shared success—always seeing each interaction as a chance to build trust and bridge worlds. Everything clicked when I found NetExpat. Whether it's understanding a client’s cultural expectations or managing team dynamics across time zones, I lead with the mindset that every interaction is an opportunity to build trust and collaboration.
What energizes you most about your day-to-day work at NetExpat?
I often say working at NetExpat feels like traveling the world every day. I love the diversity of our clients and team, the conversations that span continents, the chance to make an impact on someone’s personal and professional journey. I also work on process improvements and ensure quality standards are met. Supporting people during a major life transition is something I take to heart. Every day is a constant learning experience, and that’s exactly what keeps me inspired. We’re not just delivering a service—we’re supporting real people through life-changing experiences.
How do you tailor support across such diverse cultures?
Kindness is universal. Starting with empathy, curiosity, and respect helps us build trust quickly. From there, we customize based on each person’s cultural and personal needs.
What’s the NetExpat culture like?
It’s truly mission-driven. Everyone cares deeply about the people we support. We’re collaborative, globally minded, and always looking for ways to evolve and innovate.
How do you view the role of AI in global mobility?
AI is an incredible tool, but it can't replace the human connection. Relocation is deeply emotional—partners, families, careers are all impacted. While tech can enhance our organization and responsiveness, it's our empathy and cultural understanding that truly make a difference. AI should support us, not substitute what’s personal.
