Tell us a little bit about your journey before joining NetExpat.
My fascination with technology began in childhood, taking apart toys to understand how they worked. Inspired by my father’s exposure to emerging technologies, I developed an early passion for innovation and problem-solving.
During university, I worked as an IT Assistant managing a multimedia laboratory and training students on multimedia systems, cybersecurity, and early virtual reality technologies. After graduation, I held technical roles in content management, e-learning, and server administration before becoming an independent Senior Drupal Developer in Brussels.
Over the years, I developed web platforms for organizations including ANILS, PRO1GOLF, and several European Commission bodies, later joining the Commission’s DIGIT division to support major web and digital transformation initiatives.
Throughout my career, I have remained guided by a simple principle: technology never stops evolving, and continuous learning is essential to staying effective and innovative.
What energizes you most about your day-to-day work at NetExpat?
What truly motivates me is the opportunity to create practical solutions that directly support our business objectives while contributing to long-term architectural strategies.
I oversee a highly diverse technical ecosystem, which means my days involve everything from optimizing critical systems and upgrading backend technologies to planning infrastructure improvements alongside our operational teams. I particularly enjoy the moments when colleagues come together to exchange ideas, review technical approaches, and find more efficient ways to improve our applications.
For me, a fulfilling professional journey combines meaningful impact, continuous learning, and a strong sense of community. At NetExpat, I have the opportunity to combine technological innovation with practical support for both our corporate users and my colleagues. The spirit of collaboration and mutual trust within our IT team is an important source of daily inspiration. We consistently share ideas, discuss best practices, and approach challenges collectively. This collaborative environment transforms technical challenges into shared achievements and motivates me to contribute to the company’s continuous improvement.

Looking ahead, how do you envision the global mobility industry evolving in 2026 and beyond?List Item 1
Global mobility has evolved from a mainly administrative function into a strategic business enabler. Flexible work models, international assignments, and remote work opportunities have created new possibilities, but also increased compliance, privacy, and data protection requirements.
To address these challenges, organizations are adopting integrated, AI-powered mobility solutions. At NetExpat, this is reflected in innovations within the PartnerJob Explorer platform, including tools that help candidates navigate their job search more effectively.
Looking ahead, success in global mobility will depend not only on technology and compliance, but also on supporting the well-being, careers, and long-term integration of relocating individuals and families. The future belongs to organizations that combine secure technology with a genuinely human-centered approach.

What’s something you’ve learned from working across cultures or borders?List Item 2
Working internationally has taught me that effective communication goes far beyond speaking the same language. Different cultures approach hierarchy, problem-solving, feedback, and decision-making in very different ways.
Throughout my experience at the European Commission and later at NetExpat, I learned that successful international collaboration requires empathy, patience, and the ability to understand different perspectives.
Building bridges between cultures means translating not only words but also expectations, processes, and ways of thinking. When diversity is embraced properly, it becomes a powerful source of innovation and organizational strength.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone entering the industry, what would it be?List Item 3
Never lose sight of the human element, and use technology to enhance it rather than replace it. After more than a decade building digital tools that support families, I have learned that the best solutions combine high technology with human connection.
Artificial intelligence and automation offer extraordinary opportunities. We can build powerful search engines, sophisticated matching systems, and advanced automation tools. However, technology only has value when it serves a deeper human purpose: reducing isolation, restoring confidence, supporting careers, and creating a sense of belonging.
My advice is simple: embrace technology, master the data, and continue learning. But never forget that your ultimate goal is to provide reassurance, support, and peace of mind to people experiencing one of the most important transitions of their lives. Let technology handle the complexity so that human beings can focus on empathy, relationships, and meaningful support.
